Group Delay Measurement Setup
The concept behind this Group Delay measurement setup is to AM modulate a sweep frequency carrier with a very low frequency <20Hz sinewave. The resulting envelope is a Time dependent series, the phase of which will only change due to Real Time Delay. This approach is unlike using a single Sideband Suppressed Carrier (SSBSC) signal, the phase of which is susceptible to ambiguity.
