The "Dumb Terminal" Metaphor 
One could outfit every student's position with their own monitor, keyboard, headset and mouse for a total 
each of $357.00. 
(This is based 1 piece gray-market pricing, in volume + educational discounts it may be more like ~ $ 240.00 each)

14 student positions could be setup for the price of one VGA projector. The student will have better 
Imaging with a 14 inch VGA monitor than from either a large 27 inch Monitor or any Video Projector. 
(This is partially a function of dot pitch verses relative viewer distance.) 

The mouse is more than adequate for annotation. The keyboard & headset finish off the personal I/O 
for the student. 

The I/O for a 14 student setup or almost number of setups, would be on the order of about $ 250.00.
